Many companies are now willing to give a second or maybe even first look at Apple’s mobile phone, iPhone, which now has access to 3G networks. A 3G version also extends the scope of the iPod to more operators and geographical areas, experts say. Even so, David Ginsburg, a marketing executive in InnoPath, he wondered aloud whether Apple will have to move to ways of doing things more standard to be more attractive to that wider audience.
